2023 Ottumwa Girls Youth Basketball League

Ottumwa Girls Youth Basketball League will provide a fun atmosphere for girls to learn the fundamentals of basketball. Participants will receive instruction from Ottumwa High School coaches and players on offensive and defensive drills and skills. The 2023 Girls OYBL will feature two divisions: 3rd/4th Grade and 5th/6th Grade. Last season we had four teams competing in each division. Each team played two games per week, for a total of eight games for the season.

Dates:
Saturday, November 11: Girls OYBL Camp 12:00-2:00PM
Saturday, November 18: Practice 11:15AM-12:00PM, Games 12:00-3:00PM
Sunday, December 3: Games 11:00AM-2:00PM
Friday, December 8: OYBL Night @ Halftime of Girls Varsity Game. Pizza Party to follow.
Sunday, December 10: Games 11:00AM-2:00PM
Sunday, December 17: Games 11:00AM-2:00PM

ALL GAMES AND CAMPS WILL BE HOSTED AT EVANS MIDDLE SCHOOL. Other practice times throughout the year are to be determined.

OYBL Fees and Registration Information:
Fees for the 2023 season will be $25 per player. The fees will provide a t-shirt for each player, access to our OYBL Camp on November 11th, as well as admission to the home basketball game on Friday, December 8th.

Registration will be collected two ways this season:
1) Parents may register and pay on Bound.
2) Parents may register in person on November 11th at the OYBL camp.
