The Ottumwa High School (OHS) Sideline Cheerleaders will host a cheer clinic for K-6th graders. OHS cheerleaders will be teaching a dance, cheer, and jumps. Parents need to provide transportation to and from the practice site - OHS Cafeteria. Please enter through the 4th Street side.

K - 3rd: 4:15 - 6:00 p.m.

4th - 6th: 6:15 - 8:00 p.m.

To limit distractions, we kindly request that parents not stay for practice.

Cost: $25/ per student. Please bring payment to the clinic on Thursday, September 3. Do NOT send money to your child's school. Cash or check can be made out to OHS Cheer.

What to wear? Students need to wear shorts/comfortable long pants, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes to practice and to the performance. Hair should be pulled back and away from the face.  

Performance: Friday, September 4, 2026, at halftime of the Varsity game at Schafer Stadium. Estimated performance time is 8:15 p.m.

• Check-in: 7:30 p.m. on the track behind the scoreboard. You will receive your shirt at this time.
• Check-out: After your child is done performing, please return to the check-in location to pick up your child.

Entrance into the game: Cheer clinic participants will get in for FREE. Parents will need to pay the gate fee to enter. 

REMINDER - bring payment to the clinic on September 3, not to the elementary school!
